It's about 1km of maintained dirt road, it is accessible by all vehicles - cars, trucks, semi


Thunder Mountain Off Road Park hours vary, please see hours on posted event page. The park is not open to public outside of posted events.


Yes, but only for the competitors as the space is small. There are close by recreational camp sites -  McCulloch Lake & Brown Lake 


 We have multiple hot food vendors and merch on site - but cash only!


We are off grid! We do have access to a star link for emergencies. The closest cell service is the truck pull out on Hwy 33 right before Big White rd.


  • The weather is unpredictable as the track’s elevation is 4400 ft, could be t-shirt weather and a snowstorm in the same day - Layer up
  • A lawn chair is recommended

  • Ear protection for little littles


There certainly is! Keep the kids entertained during slow times at the track.

We love bringing our fur babies everywhere too, but Thunder Mountain Off Road Park is LOUD! It can be scary for dogs. Plus there is alot of moving traffic and we wouldn't want anything to happen. Please leave them at home and just enjoy the racing!
